Agincourt 600 remembered with a new memorial

On the anniversary of the battle itself dignitaries from England, Wales and France gathered together at Azincourt. Amongst the commemorative events, speeches and parades a new memorial wars unveiled. The memorial is to all those that fought and fell. It provides a fitting tribute to the men who won and lost and to those that have followed keeping the memory of that battle alive. The monument was supported by the Agincourt Trust.

600th Anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt Conference, recordings are now online

The 600th Anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt Conference took place at the University of Southampton from 31 July to 3 August. There was a range of papers given on subjects pertaining to Agincourt and warfare in the period, which included topics such as arms and armour, medieval strategy, naval warfare and the costs of war. The Hay History Festival Weekend

The Hay History Festioval Weekend created a range of exciting and engaging activities all with the Theme of Agincourt! The weekend was a huge success with over 2,225 people taking part and attending events. The four day festival is a lesson on how Agincourt and medieval history can excite and galvanise a town.
